Straw Flower – Silvery Rose

Straw Flowers are also known as “everlastings” and as a symbol of immortality because they hold their blooms and color for so long.  They are a hardy, cool season flower that slightly resembles mums with their stiff pedals being a striking difference.  They can grow to 3 feet tall and are native to Australia which gives them a drought resistant characteristic.  This cut flower is great for dried flower arrangements.  The Silvery Rose variety offers an almost antique metal like color giving it an elegance and style like no other.
