Aster – Crego Giant

Asters are cool season perennials that grow from 1 to 6 feet tall. Aster is the Greek word for “star” and named so because of their small star-shaped flowers.  They range in color from yellow to white and light blue to a deep purple.  The Crego Giant Aster has large double blooms and like its counterpart Giant Perfection, it comes in a variety of bright colors including off white, lavender and dark red.  As with all the large aster varieties, the size of these blooms make them even more appealing for cut flowers as well as dried flower arrangements.
